CDR-DATA Corporation Signs Agreement to Deliver Call Accounting Services to the City of Carson.

The City of Carson had a need to charge back their telecommunications expenses accurately and provide reports to the managers of their various departments for management of their telecommunications resources. After meeting with CDR-DATA Corporation a plan was developed that would satisfy the groups' requirements for accurate reporting and timely delivery of their charge back information.

"While we feel that the threat of employee abuse was minimal, we have found that call accounting when used properly is a great tool for providing feedback for managers to aid employees in using the telephone more effectively," said Robert Eggleston, MIS Director for the City of Carson. "But the main objective for obtaining CDR-DATA's services is to deliver an accurate representation of all our telecommunications charges to our Accounting systems General ledger for charge back to the various departments."

CDR-DATA provides a seamless interface to most accounting and human resource systems in order to reduce the keying of data multiple times. It can either duplicate an existing format or deliver the information needed in a CSV file for input by such programs as Excel(R) or Access(R).
