) today announced that its RC1920C CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) A method for transmitting simultaneous signals over a shared portion of the spectrum. The foremost application of CDMA is the digital cellular phone technology from QUALCOMM that operates in the 800 MHz band and 1.9 GHz PCS band.  repeater is now deployed in Monet Mobile Networks' next-generation, data-only wireless network, marking the first use of a Repeater Technologies product in this advanced Internet- and multimedia-oriented application.

The Repeater Technologies product supports North America's first data-only CDMA2000 1XRTT network, which Monet operates in Sioux Falls Sioux Falls, city (1990 pop. 100,814), seat of Minnehaha co., SE S.Dak., on the Big Sioux River; settled 1856, inc. as a village 1877, as a city 1883. Settlers abandoned the site in 1862 because of Native American raids, but with the establishment (1865) of Fort , S.D. The repeater, working in combination with one of the network's CDMA base stations, expands the coverage area and maintains high data throughput for Monet subscribers in the Sioux Falls area.
