CDKNET.COM Enters Strategic European Partnership With Hungarian Broadcasting Corp.

GARDEN CITY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 10, 1999--CDKNET.COM (OTC BB:CDKX)(the "Company") announces that its subsidiary, CDKnet, LLC, has entered into a strategic marketing partnership with Hungarian Broadcasting Corporation ("HBC")(Nasdaq:HBCO) which provides for the use of CDK(tm) Technology in video based CDK(tm) products marketed to HBC's television audiences in Hungary and Central and Eastern Europe.

HBC is a satellite-to-cable television broadcaster and media services company with four stations in Central and Eastern Europe with current total broadcasting reach of 13 million viewers. They currently reach 39% of the television households in Hungary; 30% in the Czech Republic and 41% in Slovakia. HBC strategic joint ventures and marketing and licensing agreements with Nickelodeon and MTV Networks.

The products are to be sold through a web site created for HBC by CDKnet, LLC, which will be advertised via direct mail and television based advertising campaigns. The web site and the CDK products are scheduled to be unveiled in early April and May, 1999. HBC and CDKNET.COM are committed to creating a unique entertainment experience for the rapidly expanding music and television constituency of HBC throughout Central and Eastern Europe.

The HBC Agreement provides that CDKnet will develop a number of video based CDK's with HBC's content using CDKnet's proprietary CDK(tm) Technology. The CDK's will have links to HBC's web site, the Company's Metrotainment (tm) website and certain other web sites. Moreover, the Agreement provides that the Company will create a web site for the viewing and purchasing of the custom compiled CDK audio and video titles created by the Partnership.

The site will have the capability for e-commerce via secure credit card transaction processing. Under the terms of the agreement, HBC will market, promote and advertise a new HBC website where they will sell, through the use of CDKnet proprietary technology, Music Video CDS for which HBC will provide licensed content from major and independent labels.

By allowing the end user to choose from a wide selection of music and music video titles within its database, the website will give the end user the ability to fully customize and personalize a CD to his or her liking. Product sales revenues will be shared with HBC, while associated advertising revenues will be kept by HBC.

The CDK(tm) technology is a convergent technology which combines Internet browser functionality, "Red book" quality audio, and full screen-full motion video in one platform that has broad application for the multimedia marketing , advertising and promotion areas, music and entertainment industry and music industry special projects business.
