Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in Europe.

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Deloitte & Touche (also referred to as Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, and branded as Deloitte.) is the second largest professional services firm in the world, and one of the Big Four auditors, along with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young and KPMG. , in cooperation with Euronext, recognized Europe's fastest growing technology companies at the 'Grandmasters of Growth' conference and award ceremony on April 8 and 9, 2002 at the Palais de la Bourse bourse (brs), term applied to a European stock exchange. The first international bourse was established in Antwerp in the 16th cent.  building in Paris.

The European Technology Fast 500 program is the first truly objective industry-ranking standard and recognizes the effort and dedication of those European companies It may never be fully completed or, depending on its its nature, it may be that it can never be completed. However, new and revised entries in the list are always welcome.

that are ranked as the top performers.

To determine the fastest growing companies, Deloitte reviewed companies' revenues for the past three years (1998-2000), calculated the three-year revenue growth percentage, and compared the growth of all the technology companies. CDC Solutions achieved an impressive accomplishment and was placed 120 out of the 500 selected, showing a growth of 423 percent.

Commenting on the award, Philip Padfield, Chief Executive Officer of CDC Solutions said, "It is a wonderful compliment Not to be confused with Complement.
Compliment may be
  • An expression of praise, congratulation or encouragement.
  • A misspelling for complement, meaning something which makes the original object complete.
to CDC Solutions to achieve this European recognition of success from Deloitte.

The award is a testament to the quality of our technology, as well as the effort and dedication of the entire company to offer increased service levels to our growing base of customers and to continue to secure new business wins. We look forward to continuing this trend in 2002."

The Fast 500 list is compiled from three sources: winners of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu's European Fast 50 programs, nominations submitted directly to the Fast 500, and public company database research.

To qualify for the Fast 500 ranking, firms must have been involved in proprietary technology that contributed significantly to their operating revenues operating revenue

, manufactured a tech product, or have been deeply involved in tech research and development.

In addition, the firm must have been in business at least three years and headquartered in Europe or have shares listed on a European stock exchange, and had 1998 revenue of at least 50,000 euros.

Karel Bakkes, Deloitte partner in charge of the European Technology Fast 500 said, "Because stock markets are more volatile and investors more cautious, the established and emerging companies that made the Deloitte European Technology Fast 500 have indeed made an incredible achievement. This accomplishment truly positions these companies to be the key forces behind economic growth in Europe in the years ahead."
