CDC Solutions, a world leader in Enterprise Content Delivery solutions, today announced that Philip Padfield has joined the company as CEO.

With more than 16 years' IT experience - 13 of those in senior management positions of enterprise and Internet technology companies - Philip comes to CDC Solutions from Ironside Technologies where he held the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager, International. Philip also joins the Board of Directors of CDC Solutions.

At the same time it was announced that Dave Cornwell, who co-founded CDC Solutions in 1994 and successfully built the fledgling company to the position that it now holds as a global leader in enterprise content delivery, is concentrating on his new role as VP to spearhead international business development.

Dave will focus initially on the Asia Pacific Rim Pacific Rim, term used to describe the nations bordering the Pacific Ocean and the island countries situated in it. Prior to joining CDC Solutions, Padfield served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager, International of Ironside Technologies, a global company that delivers supplier-focused business-to-business e-commerce solutions. As the officer responsible for establishing operations outside of the Americas domestic market, Padfield grew revenues from zero to over 60% of the worldwide revenues in under two years.
