CDA to set up fruit, vegetable market at Sangjani.

ISLAMABAD, May 21, 2010 (Balochistan Times): The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has planned to develop a state-of-art fruit, vegetable and flower market on 54 acres at Sangjani, near GT Road. An official of CDA informed that expressions of interest have been invited from reputed national and international firms with experience and expertise for developing such projects on build, operate and transfer basis. He said that the purpose of such a well equipped market project is to meet day-to-day needs of the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, as well as import and export requirements of commodities of Northern Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining areas.
