The typical user can browse through the CinePak-compressed clips via the included Kodak Browser catalog application. Each video and audio clip is cross-referenced by a variety of descriptive listings. When the appropriate clips have been identified, the user imports the high-quality JPEG clips into their project. Once the project is complete, they save their work using the compression method of their choice; one suitable for their playback considerations.

Broadcast production houses can use the Select Effects Digital Library as a video selection guide for choosing the effects clips they wish to order from CASCOM's library. Each clip is numbered and may be ordered on the tape format of their choice.
