CD Warehouse Franchisee Association Announces Success.Business Editors SOUTH AMANA, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 20, 2000 The CD Warehouse Franchisee Association (CDWFA) announced today that in a meeting in Dallas, Texas “Dallas” redirects here. Chris Salyer advised CDWFA Board member Jim Boushka that CD Warehouse, Inc. intended to pay the entire cost of software and installation for a new point of sale (POS (1) See point of sale and packet over SONET. POS - point of sale ) system for the CD Warehouse franchisees, reduce the royalties on sale of new product by twenty percent, provide incentives for franchisees opening new units, and issue stock options to all franchisees. Boushka stated that, "The entire Board of CDWFA is pleased that the new CD Warehouse, Inc. management has recognized the validity of many of our concerns and appears to be making proper business decisions in an effort to resolve them. CDWFA Board member Doug Olson cautioned, however, that "While this is an important first step, and may lead to positive opportunities, it's hard to get too excited about promises when the only concrete action that the new management has taken so far is to sue five of its more successful franchisees.
