CD Publications launches two newsletters focusing on two growing problems in American society.

 Norins says he gets his ideas for new newsletters just by studying the daily newspapers. That's apparently all that CD Publications publisher Mike Gerecht did--although his company's long history of "community development" (CD) newsletters certainly helped, too.

Affordable Housing Update is an eight-page newsletter which covers the growing shortage of affordable and workforce housing Workforce housing is a relatively new term that is increasingly popular among planners, government administrators and housing activists, and is gaining cachet with home builders, developers and lenders.  in many areas of the U.S.

It's geared towards builders seeking to remove barriers to housing production and towards local government officials trying to find solutions to the problem.
