CCOB KBCA not satisfied with the working of Towns.KARACHI, November 09, 2009 (Balochistan Times): The Chief Controller of Buildings, Karachi Building Control Authority, Manzoor Qadir has said that he is not satisfied over the working of Towns despite instructions issued by him from time to time. He showed displeasure against Illegal construction activities in different Towns and said these have not been checked/reported by concerned officials and staff at the initial stage. If this behaviour is not changed, punitive action will be taken against the concerned personnel, he made it clear. CCOB pointed out that at present regularization, addition, alterationcases, where approval of building plan was granted under Karachi Building and Town Planning Regulations-1979 are being processed only to the extent of plots of 399 sq yards and said he has issued directive that henceforth regularization cases for all categories of residential houses, irrespective of plot size, be processed under KB&TPR-1979.
