As some of you may know, the Chester County Health Department (CCHD CCHD Catholic Campaign for Human Development

) has been conducting an immunization immunization: see immunity; vaccination.  outreach program at Chester County mushroom farms. The program provides free Hepatits A and Hepatitis B Hepatitis B Definition

Hepatitis B is a potentially serious form of liver inflammation due to infection by the hepatitis B virus (HBV). It occurs in both rapidly developing (acute) and long-lasting (chronic) forms, and is one of the most common chronic
 vaccinations, as well as the new Tetanus vaccine, Tdap. If you are interested in making arrangements for this program at your mushroom farm site, contact Joan Holliday, Public Health nurse at 610/344-5550.
