) today announced that it has reached an agreement with Interface Flooring Systems, Inc. to recycle waste carpet tiles and trim.

"The minimum order will yield revenues of $450,000 to $500,000," said Joe Kosalle, President and Chief Financial Officer of Custom Cryogenic. "We expect to receive the first purchase order within the next week, and to begin shipments December 1.

"This agreement is the successful culmination of nearly one year's testing," continued Mr. Kosalle. "In this tolling arrangement, CCGC will use its unique cryogenic technology, in combination with its polymer separation process, to strip and reclaim the PVC PVC: see polyvinyl chloride.

Synthetic resin, an organic polymer made by treating vinyl chloride monomers with a peroxide.
 backing from carpet, and then ship the reclaimed PVC back to Interface for re-use. Interface is committed to recycle 100 per cent of its post-production waste. This project will recover approximately 50 per cent of waste carpet tiles and trim. Additionally, CCGC continues to develop a means of reclaiming additional PVC, as well as nylon fiber."

CCGC also announced that it has strengthened its senior management team with the hiring of John Edward (Jack) Flinders as Director of Operations. Mr. Flinders brings to Custom Cryogenic 27 years of manufacturing experience in the rubber products industry. Prior to joining CCGC, he was the manufacturing services/quality manager for Gates Ganada Inc. where he held a series of increasingly responsible positions in plant management.

"Mr. Flinders' experience in cellular manufacturing and quality control will prepare CCGC to accommodate the anticipated higher volumes expected during the next year," Mr. Kosalle said. "In particular, CCGC recently announced its first order for De-Vulc devulcanized rubber recovered using a proprietary process. We expect additional orders will results from the more than 150 trials with potential customers that are now underway."
