CCFC Installs New Production Line.

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario -- Central Canada Foods Corporation (TSX VENTURE:CDF.A) has installed a second automated production line as a next step in the expansion of its new Timberlea plant.

This production line is expected to be used primarily to process hams and related products to meet the increasing sales for the Choice Pak brand of pork products.

"The increase in the sales and the increased production of hams by CCFC is part of the execution of the Company's ongoing plan to broaden its pork products and diversify its customer base in both the domestic and export markets," said George Michaels, CCFC's President.

Currently in use, the new production line is expected to be fully operational early in the fourth quarter. The Timberlea plant, with one automated production line, was able to increase productivity as much as 100% over the Company's Wharton Glen facility.
