), announced today that it has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Mitchell International, Inc.

In its complaint filed today in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois The United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois is the Federal district court whose jurisdiction comprises the following counties, divided into two divisions:  (Eastern Division), CCC alleges that Mitchell is infringing CCC's patent entitled "system and method for managing insurance claim processing", U.S. Patent No. 5,950,169 (the "'169 Patent"). The '169 Patent includes coverage for the parts comparison feature in CCC Pathways(R) collision estimating software.

In addition to a judicial determination that Mitchell infringed the '169 Patent, CCC is seeking preliminary and permanent injunctions enjoining en·join
