In Falmouth, CCB&T consolidated its branch at 763 Main Street with the newly acquired branch at 249 Worcester Court. The acquisition of the Wareham branch at 237 Main Street marks CCB&T's initial expansion into Plymouth County Plymouth County is the name of two counties in the United States:
  • Plymouth County, Iowa
  • Plymouth County, Massachusetts
. CCB&T now has a network of 28 branches and 32 ATMs, more than any other institution serving the Cape marketplace.

In addition to its growing number of branches, CCB&T has broadened its product lines beyond just banking services, Lawson noted. He indicated that insurance was added to CCB&T's service offerings in June when the bank acquired 51% of the stock of Murray & MacDonald Insurance Services, Inc. of Falmouth.

Consistent with CCB&T's expansion, Lawson said "Our goal is to provide individuals and businesses with all of the financial services they need in one convenient location."

CCB&T is the Cape's largest financial institution with assets of $1.3 billion. A subsidiary of CCBT Financial Companies, Inc., it was recently recognized by the Boston Globe as the top performing bank in Massachusetts of all banks with more than $1 billion in assets.
