CCBN Named 2003 New England Innovator; SBANE Recognizes CCBN As One of the Region's 'Most Innovative Thinkers'.

 (www.ccbn.com) announced today that the Small Business Association of New England New England, name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The region is thought to have been so named by Capt.  (SBANE SBANE Smaller Business Association of New England ) has honored CCBN with a 2003 New England Award for Innovation. , Green Mountain Coffee, Inc. and Brooks Automation. The awards were announced at SBANE's "Evening of Innovation" on May 22, 2003, at the Newton Marriott Hotel.

SBANE received nearly 200 nominations for this year's program, the most ever, from which 14 finalists were selected. CCBN was recognized "for developing the technology that lets us all know how our investments are doing," said Julie Scofield, executive director of SBANE.

SBANE established The New England Innovation Awards program in 1986. The awards recognize companies that are not merely successful, but whose success is due to innovation. More than 100 companies have been honored, representing the variety and strength of New England's business community. A number of past winners of this award use CCBN services.
