CBYON, Inc. Announces Appointment of Shirley Clayton as New CFO.

CBYON, Inc., a pioneer in the development of three-dimensional, visualization software for minimally invasive surgery, today announced the appointment of Shirley L. Clayton as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance.

Ms. Clayton brings to CBYON over 20 years of corporate finance and business development experience as a senior executive with prominent medical companies including Genentech, Cygnus Therapeutic Systems, and Protein Design Labs. She joins CBYON from Raven Biotechnologies, a privately held company, which she co-founded and for which she raised early stage financing.

At Cygnus Therapeutic Systems she led the company's initial public offering and secondary public financing. As Vice President and Treasurer at Genentech, Ms. Clayton successfully helped raise over $300 million for the company. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA degree in chemistry from Smith College and holds an MBA from Stanford Business School.
