The various UC campuses plan to deploy CBT Systems' courseware initially to the IT staff, faculty and students in business, engineering, and computer science colleges, and through the libraries. Model interactive learning sites are also planned for the academic and administrative computing computing - computer  areas.

"We are excited about using CBT Systems' technology as part of our administrative information systems department's education efforts," said Al Smith, Director, Administrative Information Systems at UCLA. "While we initiated the contract for our departments' skill development, we believe the courses will have a significant impact on the entire campus' technical skill level and development."

CBT Systems Courseware

The IT courseware designed and developed by CBT Systems is based on an advanced development architecture, enabling the company to distinguish its products with a consistent look and feel, rich graphics, technical depth, and sophisticated simulations. The titles feature a direct, self-paced approach based on a discovery and simulation methodology, which creates a highly engaging learning environment and leads to greater retention of skills. The breadth and depth of CBT Systems' courseware is further enhanced through the company's close collaboration with acknowledged leaders in the IT industry.

CBT Systems' courseware is designed from the ground up to be distributed over networks, making it easy to deploy, administer, and maintain over LANs, WANs, and intranets, or on stand-alone personal computers. Because the company's titles share a consistent design, students can expect a consistent learning experience regardless of how the courseware is deployed.
