CBSI Employees Launch Relief Effort For India Quake Victims; Company's Operations in India Appear Unaffected So Far.

Employees of Complete Business Solutions (Nasdaq:CBSI), a global technology services company with extensive facilities in India, have launched a worldwide fundraising drive to assist the tens of thousands of victims of the devastating earthquake that struck India on January 26.

CBSI Founder Raj Vattikuti has pledged a dollar-to-dollar match of all CBSI employee contributions to the quake relief effort through his personal charitable foundation, The Vattikuti Foundation, which he established in 1997.

"As a humanitarian gesture to the people of India, Raj and I have appealed to CBSI employees worldwide to make a donation to the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) to assist earthquake victims," said Michael Bealmear, president and chief executive officer of CBSI. "Although the operations of CBSIndia have not been affected thus far, our hearts and prayers are with our many colleagues overseas and their families as they try to cope with this incredible tragedy. It may be difficult for most of us to imagine the suffering of the people of India, but it is easy for us to do something to help."

The IFRC, the world's largest humanitarian aid organization, is comprised of 176 member Red Cross and Red Crescent societies whose mission is to carry out relief operations to assist victims of natural disasters.
