CBSI Chosen for Multi-Year Development Contract With Rhode Island Public Employees Retirement System.

Complete Business Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:CBSI) has been chosen by the Employees Retirement Board of Rhode Island to implement a new pension administration system for the Public Employees Retirement System there.

The value of the contract is approximately $16.8 million and will be implemented in stages over a two-and-a-half-year period with an additional year and a half to implement options being exercised by the state.

Under the terms of the engagement, CBSI will design, develop and implement a state-of-the-art pension administration system for the State to replace its mainframe system. Using CBSI's Clarety Framework Solution, the new system will provide integrated workflow, imaging, and office automation capabilities that will significantly improve the speed and accuracy of business processing. It will also improve the State's records management and reporting capabilities, enabling them to service their agencies and members better.
