CBS debuts consumer magazine.


LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 3, 1996--CBS has entered into an agreement with Executive Publications to launch CBS (Cell Broadcast Service) See cell broadcast.  Magazine, a complimentary publication for the many thousands of visitors who watch television shows being taped at CBS Television City “Television City” redirects here. CBS Television City is a television studio located in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles' West Side at 7800 Beverly Boulevard, at the corner of Beverly and

Bill Marriott, who heads Executive Publications, says, "We've designed CBS Magazine for tourists from around the world, as well as local consumers, who visit CBS Television City." The 72-page, high-gloss full-color publication's premier issue is August 9, with 70,000 copies being distributed.

CBS Television City has over 9,000 visitors each month, consisting of families and individuals, watching any one or several of the 11 to 16 shows being taped there each week. Every day, each guest will receive a complimentary copy of the magazine.

CBS operates more film and television studios than any other network or studio in Los Angeles. Television City, which was built in 1954, has been home to a wide variety of programs, from "The Carol Burnett Show" and "The Price Is Right" to "Circus of the Stars Circus of the Stars is an annual television special, broadcast by the CBS network in the United States, in which celebrities performed circus-type acts.
