CBRE team inks 35,500 s/f in deal.


CB Richard Ellis CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. NYSE: CBG is a multinational real estate corporation currently based in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.. On December 20, 2006, the corporation, also known as CBRE, completed acquisition of Trammell Crow Co. in a transaction valued at $2.  has completed three new lease transactions at 535 Connecticut Avenue, a 173,120 s/f, Class A office building located in Norwalk, CT.

The three companies committed to over 35,500 s/f of office space at the property.

Among the new tenants signing at 535 Connecticut Avenue are the Visiting Nurses Association (VNA VNA
abbr.
Visiting Nurse Association
) which is moving 5,500 s/f on the first floor of the building from an other Norwalk location. In addition, Questionmark, a producer of testing and assessment computer software, will relocate to 2,500 s/f on the same floor.

The University of Phoenix signed a lease for 28,000 s/f, making this the first Connecticut location for the institution, which views Norwalk as a strong market from which to draw new students. 535 Connecticut Avenue also offers ideal signage, high visibility and an easily accessible location near major transportation arteries for the nation's largest private university. It expects to open this location early next year.

Paul Jacobs, Colin Reilly and Robert Caruso of CB Richard Ellis' Stamford Office represented Matan Properties, owners of the property, in all of the transactions. WFL WFL - Work Flow Language.
