CBRE tapped for retail assignment.


The Long Island office of CB Richard Ellis CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. NYSE: CBG is a multinational real estate corporation currently based in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.. On December 20, 2006, the corporation, also known as CBRE, completed acquisition of Trammell Crow Co. in a transaction valued at $2.  has been named the exclusive leasing agent for the 90,000 s/f Avnit Square shopping center, a soon-to-be developed retail property located at 1040 Hicksville Road in Bethpage, New York Bethpage is a hamlet and a census-designated place in Nassau County, New York, USA. The population was 16,543 at the 2000 United States Census.

Bethpage is within the Town of Oyster Bay with its own school district.

In addition to the proposed 90,000 s/f development, ownership is currently entertaining build-to-suit possibilities with approvals in place for up to 144,000 s/f.
