CBRE responsible for 50,000 s/f of Morris Center leases.


Approximately 50,000 s/f of office leases have recently been completed at Morris Corporate Center 1 & 2 in Parsippany, according to CB Richard Ellis CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. NYSE: CBG is a multinational real estate corporation currently based in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.. On December 20, 2006, the corporation, also known as CBRE, completed acquisition of Trammell Crow Co. in a transaction valued at $2. , New Jersey's largest commercial real estate brokerage firm.

The CB Richard Ellis team of senior vice president Richard Danesi, first vice president Gregory Barkan and vice president Brian Godau represented the landlord, Ohio STRS STRS State Teachers Retirement System

, in these transactions.

Transaction highlights consummated at Morris Corporate Center 1 & 2 include:

A 29,000 s/f lease renewal and expansion for Towers Perrin. A 12,311 s/f lease for JHP JHP Jacketed Hollow Point (bullet)
JHP Journal of Humanistic Psychology
JHP Journal of Health Psychology
JHP Jewish Heritage Program
 Pharma. Managing director Jerry Moore and senior vice president Craig Zurick of The Garibaldi Group represented the tenant. A 4,457 s/f lease renewal for Generali Employee Benefits. The tenant was represented in-house. And a 4,228 s/f lease on behalf of DSP (1) (Digital Signal Processor) A special-purpose CPU used for digital signal processing applications (see definition #2 below). It provides ultra-fast instruction sequences, such as shift and add, and multiply and add, which are commonly used in math-intensive  Clinical Research.

One of the few Energy Star-labeled office buildings in New Jersey, Morris Corporate Center is currently undergoing a capital improvement program exceeding $5 million. These renovations include new common areas and lobby, putting green, HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) In the home or small office with a handful of computers, HVAC is more for human comfort than the machines.
