CBRE launches nonprofit group.


CB Richard Ellis CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. NYSE: CBG is a multinational real estate corporation currently based in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.. On December 20, 2006, the corporation, also known as CBRE, completed acquisition of Trammell Crow Co. in a transaction valued at $2.  announced that it has launched a new practice group focused on nonprofit institutions. According to Susan Kahaner, CBRE senior vice president, "The real estate needs of the nonprofit community are growing increasingly sophisticated, and CBRE has the platform, experience and expertise to serve as an advocate for these organizations, aligning their real estate strategies with their core missions."

Ms. Sunshine and Ms. Kahaner are helping to launch the CBRE nonprofit practice group in the New York tri-state area. CBRE has extensive experience assisting nonprofits such as the Foundation Center, Better Business Bureau, Archdiocese of New York, Housing Works and American Ballet Theater. Other members of the nonprofit practice group include Bill Shanahan, Executive, Tim Sheehan, Megan Sheehan and Michele Freeman.
