CBOE MEMBERSHIP ELECTS SIX DIRECTORS, TWO NOMINATING COMMITTEE MEMBERS

 CHICAGO, Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The membership of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) has elected six directors to serve on the exchange's 21-person board of directors, effective when the board holds its first meeting of 1993 in January.
 Elected to three-year terms as on-floor directors were Merrill J. Ferguson and Thomas P. Haugh, both independent market makers. Both are new directors.
 Richard A. Angell, also an independent market maker, was re-elected to a three-year board term. He will serve as an at-large director.
 For off-floor directors, CBOE members re-elected to three-year terms Leland B. Paton, president, Capital Markets Group, Prudential Securities, Inc., and Bruce C. Hackett, managing director and member of the executive committee, Salomon Brothers Inc. Christine A. Edwards, executive vice president, general counsel and secretary, Dean Witter Financial Services Group Inc., Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc. and Sears Consumer Financial Corp., was elected to her first term, for two years, as off-floor director.
 CBOE members elected to the nominating committee Alex Green and Thomas F. Henrich, independent market makers. Both will serve three- year terms on the nominating committee.
