      CBOE ANNOUNCES DIRECTOR AND NOMINATING COMMITTEE CANDIDATES
    CHICAGO, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) has announced the names of the candidates for the exchange's board of directors and nominating committee.  The exchange's membership will vote on the candidates Monday, Dec. 9, at the annual election meeting.  The candidates are:
    For on-floor directors (3-year terms):
    -- Richard A. Bruder, independent market maker, new nominee.
    -- William C. Floersch, independent market maker, past director, current vice chairman.
    For at-large director: (3-year term)
    -- Michael J. Razar, senior vice president, SBC/OC current director.
    For off-floor directors (3-year terms):
    -- Joseph J. Plumeri II, president, Private Client Group, Shearson Lehman Brothers Inc., current director.
    -- William E. Sullivan, senior vice president, Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc., current director.
    For off-floor director (2-year term):
    -- James R. Boris, chairman and chief executive officer, Kemper Securities Group, Inc., new moninee.
    For nominating committee (3-year terms):
    -- Benjamin S. Nitka, general partner, Option Resource Group, current director.
    -- Scott D. Paseltiner, independent market maker, new nominee.
    All the candidates are running unopposed.
    CBOE's 21-person board of directors is made up of 15 members or executive officers of member organizations of the exchange, four public directors, plus the chairman and president of CBOE.
