CBL Announces Two Senior Executive Promotions.

: CBL) today announced the promotion of Victoria S. Berghel and Mark D. Mancuso to senior positions within the Company. Ms. Berghel was named Senior Vice President and General Counsel from Vice President - Deputy General Counsel. Mr. Mancuso was named Senior Vice President Community Center Development - New England New England, name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The region is thought to have been so named by Capt.  Regional Office from Vice President and Director of Community Center Development - Boston Office.

They have both made significant contributions to this company as well as the shopping center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. Victoria Berghel joined CBL as Vice-President - Deputy General Counsel in February 2004, working under the direction of Ronald Gimple, who recently announced his retirement. Since joining the Company, Ms. Berghel has been focusing on completing department store and other major retailer documentation as well as handling other corporate legal matters. She has also been instrumental in completing the partnership documentation with The Richard E. Jacobs Group for Gulf Coast Town Center in Fort Myers Fort Myers, city (1990 pop. 45,206), seat of Lee co., SW Fla., on the Caloosahatchee River, near the Gulf of Mexico; founded 1850, inc. 1905. It has a tourist trade and light industry and is a shipping point for citrus fruits, winter vegetables, flowers (especially , FL, and Triangle Town Center Triangle Town Center is a shopping mall in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is located in North Raleigh off of U.S. Highway 1 (Capital Boulevard) and Interstate 540. The mall is owned by CBL & Associates Properties, Inc.  in Raleigh, NC.

Prior to joining CBL, Ms. Berghel spent seven years at Sears Roebuck and Co. as Vice President - Real Estate Law. From 1977 to 1996 she worked for Baltimore-based Weinberg & Green (now Saul Ewing Saul Ewing LLP is a Philadelphia-based law firm. In addition to their main headquarters (located in the heart of the business district in Center City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,) Saul Ewing has seven Mid-Atlantic regional offices in Baltimore, MD, Chesterbrook, PA, Harrisburg, PA, ) with a four-year period (between 1991 and 1995) at Percontee, Inc., a family-owned real estate company responsible for developments such as Tyson's Corner. Ms. Berghel is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers The American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL) [1] is the premier organization of U.S. real estate lawyers. Admission is by invitation only after a rigorous screening process. .

Lebovitz added, "Vickie has drawn upon her vast experience in the shopping center industry and has been a tremendous asset to CBL since she first joined the company. She will continue to be a vital part of CBL's continued success and be directly involved in the company's active development, acquisition and redevelopment programs."

Mark Mancuso joined CBL's New England regional office in March 1989 as Project Manager. Prior to joining CBL, Mr. Mancuso worked for five years as Project Manager with The Pyramid pyramid, structure
pyramid. The true pyramid exists only in Egypt, though the term has also been applied to similar structures in other countries. Egyptian pyramids are square in plan and their triangular sides, which directly face the points of the
 Companies. In November 1993, he was promoted to Vice-President and Director of Community Center Development - Boston Office. Since 1989, under his direction, the New England regional office has completed 22 projects containing 4.5 million square feet including Chicopee Marketplace, which held its grand opening on September 23, 2005. The New England regional office currently has projects under development in Burlington, NC, and Harrisburg, PA.

Lebovitz further commented, "Mark has been a strong leader in CBL's New England regional office as well as an important contributor to CBL's development program as a whole. He can draw on his expertise in retail developments to further enhance our company's extensive development platform including open-air centers and community centers."

CBL is one of the largest and most experienced owners and developers of malls and shopping centers in the country. CBL owns, holds interests in or manages 131 properties, including 79 regional malls/open-air centers. The properties are located in 26 states and total 73.7 million square feet including 2.0 million square feet of non-owned shopping centers managed for third parties. CBL currently has nine projects under construction totaling 1.9 million square feet including Phase II of Gulf Coast Town Center in Ft. Myers, FL, an open-air shopping center located in Stillwater, OK, two community centers, an associated center and four expansions.
