CBIS announces alliance with HP to support European telephony market.

(R)) announces an agreement with Hewlett-Packard Company to create a market-leading alliance that will supply billing and customer-care solutions to the European mobile, GSM, PCN 1. PCN - Program Composition Notation.

Under the terms of the agreement, CBIS and HP will partner on selected opportunities to deliver best-of-breed customer-management implementations, focusing on the CBIS Advantage(TM) Solution Set. Specific activities will include the installation, marketing, sales and support of CBIS Advantage based on HP hardware, software and services.

CBIS Advantage is a robust, next-generation solution targeted primarily toward the international mobile communications (GSM) and convergence markets. It is a modular, highly-scalable, client/server solution that exploits the proven efficiencies of the ORACLE RDBMS (Relational DataBase Management System) See relational database and DBMS.
