CBIS Appoints Three New Executives.


CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 4, 1998--CBIS[R] announced today that it has appointed three new vice presidents, including two for its Sales and Marketing Group and one for its Cable and Broadband Solutions Group.

Charles A. Hewitt has been appointed Vice President - Sales. He will be responsible for directing the North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  Sales Organization in support of the Communications, Cable and Broadband industries.

Mr. Hewitt holds a B.A. degree from Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the Executive Program from the Pennsylvania State College Graduate Business School. He has also taken graduate studies at Rutgers University, Newark, New Jersey.

Laurent Seciniaz has been appointed Vice President - International Sales at CBIS. He will be responsible for directing the International Sales Organization in support of the CBIS International Group.

Mr. Seciniaz is a former president, International Business Alliance, in Chicago and has extensive international sales and sales management experience in the wireless, wireline and CATV (Community Antenna TV) The original name for cable TV. , Sprint International, and Antec. Mr. Seciniaz has a broad international background having managed sales organizations in the United States, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. He will also report to Mr. Marino.

Mr. Seciniaz holds a B.S. degree from the College of the City of New York The College of the City of New York was the former name of New York University's undergraduate college when the university was named "University of the City of New York". It was also the informal or erroneous name for the later arriving colleges in the public university system for  and is a graduate of the International Executive Program from Columbia University Graduate Business School. He will be based in the United Kingdom.

George Vonderhaar has been named vice president, Client Services, in the Cable and Broadband Solutions Group. Mr. Vonderhaar will be responsible for the client-facing service and support organizations including client support, conversions, program management training and service bureau operations.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Vonderhaar held a number of leadership and management positions in the sales and marketing organization at CBIS. Most recently, he was Director, Strategic Account Development, where he was responsible for leading sales and account development initiatives for several of CBIS's major clients. He will report to Thomas E. Smaldone, president of CBIS's Cable and Broadband Solutions Group.
