DALLAS -- Responding to demands for performance management solutions in the Midwestern markets, CBH Consultants, a key Cognos strategic partner, announced the opening of offices in the greater Dallas metro area.

By co-locating with the Midwest Cognos offices, CBH's goal is to expand successful strategic relationships with Cognos and offer guidance to companies assessing their own performance enhancement initiatives.

Darrin Phipps of Dallas has joined CBH to direct operations in the Midwest. He will be responsible for business development, as well as managing client and partner relationships. Phipps joins CBH from Cognos and Applix, where he was the senior solutions architect for the Midwest region. While at Cognos, Phipps successfully managed the Cognos finance and planning applications, and provided key regional oversight for the acquisition of the Adaytum suite of products in the Midwest. Phipps is a CPA with an undergraduate degree in accounting, and a dual emphasis MBA in accounting and finance.
