CB Richard Ellis CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. NYSE: CBG is a multinational real estate corporation currently based in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.. On December 20, 2006, the corporation, also known as CBRE, completed acquisition of Trammell Crow Co. in a transaction valued at $2.  has promoted brokerage sales professionals James C. Ackerson and Brad Needleman to vice president. They each formerly held the title of senior associate.

Ackerson began his real estate career in CBRE's La Jolla and Carlsbad offices, while attending the University of San Diego. After spending three years in Disney's advertising sales division, Ackerson rejoined CBRE's Midtown Manhattan office. In 2002 he became a brokerage sales professional, specializing in tenant and agency representation.

Since 2004, Ackerson has participated in over 1.4 million sq. ft. of leasing transactions for such notable companies as Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, Sanofi-Aventis, Altria and JP Morgan Chase. In 2006, Ackerson was nominated by the Real Estate Board of New York New York, state, United States
