CB Richard Ellis to work on 3.6 million s/f new project.


CB Richard Ellis CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. NYSE: CBG is a multinational real estate corporation currently based in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.. On December 20, 2006, the corporation, also known as CBRE, completed acquisition of Trammell Crow Co. in a transaction valued at $2.  announced that it has won a significant mandate from RBC RBC red blood cell.

This 3.6 million s/f portfolio of properties includes headquarters, administrative and sales offices, branch banks, stand-alone ATM's and critical operations centers.

CBRE's global corporate services Activities that combine or consolidate certain enterprise-wide needed support services, provided based on specialized knowledge, best practices, and technology to serve internal (and sometimes external) customers and business partners.  team of Ed Milton, Ted Duda, Barnett Earles and Willis Scott will lead the assignment.

Steven Swerdlow, president of CBRE's Global Corporate Services division, added, "The fact that RBC has tapped us to oversee a significant portion of its real estate needs nationwide indicates it is confident that our experience and track record will meet the challenge of its strategy for rapid growth in some markets, while at the same time reducing costs on existing assets in others."

According to Hossam Shiaty, RBC rice president of corporate real estate, "The scope of this agreement allows RBC employees to focus on our core business of providing value and service to our clients in the U.S. CBRE's track record with RBC Centura and their knowledge of our operations combined with their service capability and geographic market coverage proved to us they could help us efficiently and cost-effectively grow our business in the U.S."
