CB Richard Ellis becomes Organization of the Year.


CB Richard Ellis CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. NYSE: CBG is a multinational real estate corporation currently based in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.. On December 20, 2006, the corporation, also known as CBRE, completed acquisition of Trammell Crow Co. in a transaction valued at $2.  has received the prestigious "Organization of the Year" award from the Commercial Real Estate Women Network. The award recognizes outstanding involvement and exemplary support by a company through its contribution to the development of the CREW Network, its members and its chapters. The 2004 award was presented last week at the CREW Network Conference in Toronto, Canada.

Ms. Strauss has been a member for the past six years. Currently she serves on the board of directors of ICREW--New Jersey as president-elect and is the CREW network delegate A person who is appointed, authorized, delegated, or commissioned to act in the place of another. CB Richard Ellis received nominations from CREW Atlanta, Montreal, San Francisco San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  and ICREW ICREW Improving Coastal and Recreational Waters (Europe)  New Jersey. Nominations for this award can only come from a CREW Network chapter.

Criteria in judging the recipient of this award include promoting CREW and its chapters; demonstrating involvement with CREW; maintaining a significant percentage of principals and employees who are members of CREW; and providing financial support and encouraging participation in CREW events and leadership positions.

Over 100 CB Richard Ellis employees nationwide are members of the CREW Network--more than any other company. Fourteen other company employees are active in CREW chapter leadership roles and the company has regularly been a strong financial supporter of CREW Network and many of its chapters across North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. .
