Peter Marr, managing director-international of CB Commercial, the leading real estate firm in the world, made the announcement today from CB Commercial headquarters in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. . Leider will relocate to Hong Kong Hong Kong (hŏng kŏng), Mandarin Xianggang, special administrative region of China, formerly a British crown colony (2005 est. pop. 6,899,000), land area 422 sq mi (1,092 sq km), adjacent to Guangdong prov.  and will be based at C. Y. Leung & Company, Ltd., CB Commercial's strategic alliance partner in Asia.

"Richard has consistently been one of our top professionals, and is thoroughly familiar with the real estate needs of American companies. Having him as liaison between American firms and the Asian real estate community will benefit all of our clients," he added.

C. Y. Leung is headquartered in Asia, and has offices and affiliate relationships in Australia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand New Zealand (zē`lənd), island country (2005 est. pop. 4,035,000), 104,454 sq mi (270,534 sq km), in the S Pacific Ocean, over 1,000 mi (1,600 km) SE of Australia. The capital is Wellington; the largest city and leading port is Auckland. , Singapore and Taiwan. Leider will be the primary liaison with North American businesses seeking to lease or purchase manufacturing, office and retail space in Asia.

Most recently, Leider served as first vice president and international specialist. He has been with CB Commercial since 1980.
