Redmon as Executive Vice President - Operations, and Ronald E. Blum as Executive Vice President - Global Business Development. Redmon, who most recently served as head of CB&I's new Risk Management group, and Blum, who most recently served as Group Vice President - Global LNG LNG (liquefied natural gas): see under natural gas. Sales for CB&I, will be based in the Company's worldwide administrative office in The Woodlands and will report to Philip K. Asherman, President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. . Redmon, 57, has more than 32 years of industry experience which includes Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO) The officer of a firm responsible for day-to-day management, usually the president or an executive vice-president. responsibilities for both BE&K and Brown and Root. Redmon joined CB&I a year ago as a senior operations manager, and since February, has been in charge of the Company's Risk Management group with responsibility for project controls, procurement, estimating, and health, safety and environmental. Blum, 57, has nearly 35 years of global experience in the E&C industry. Blum joined CB&I in 1971 and most recently was Group Vice President - Global LNG Sales. In that role, he was one of the chief architects responsible for creating CB&I's strong position in the global LNG market. Prior to that, Blum led business development for the Company's Europe, Africa and Middle East area and its U.S. and Canadian union construction operations. His service with CB&I includes assignments in South Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the U.S. CB&I executes on average more than 700 projects each year and is one of the world's leading engineering, procurement and construction |
