Tracey Emin's work was commissioned by Liverpool Cathedral for the Capital of Culture Year. In Emin's handwriting it says 'I felt you and I knew you loved me'. The cathedral also received the first Liverpool Chamber of Commerce Arts Award for the work. Canon Anthony Hawley said: "We are delighted to have won this award for a work which continues to offer all who come here the opportunity to contemplate the feeling of love." |
