 CATERPILLAR AND UNITED AUTO WORKERS TO RESUME NEGOTIATIONS
 WASHINGTON, April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Representatives of Caterpillar, Inc., and the United Auto Workers Union have responded to an invitation by Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service Director Bernard E. DeLury to meet to resume negotiations in the long-standing dispute.
 UAW President Owen Bieber and Caterpillar Chairman Donald Fites met with DeLury on Thursday, April 9, and agreed that the parties will meet as soon as possible under DeLury's direction.
 Neither party has placed any pre-conditions on their participation.
