CAST UNVEILS APPLICATION INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM VER. 6.0.

CAST (Paris:CAS) has unveiled version 6.0 of its market- leading Application Intelligence Platform. This version will augment customers' ability to drive quality into their most complex applications and manage team performance. A foundational release that will serve as basis for multiple planned innovations, AI Platform v6.0 adds features that enhance the user interface, enrich the out-of-box quality rules, extend technology coverage and further ease implementation.

CAST AI Platform inspects source code of entire business systems and identifies quality issues before they snowball into expensive project delays or significant production problems. CAST enables continual and objective assessment of the internal quality of applications being delivered to the business. Internal quality problems can degrade performance, drive up maintenance cost, and at worst bring down the production system. -- Enhanced implementation features. Enriched analyzer coverage of dynamic coding; pre-defined profiles to speed configuration; standardized API to the Knowledge Base

-- Expanded technology support. Enriched information in mainframe, Forms, ABAP, C, C++; added native support of Hibernate and JSF 

-- Enriched quality model. More specific rules for .NET, C++ and COBOL applications; additional SQL and cross-technology rules that contribute to all type of applications
