CASSEL ORALLY COMMITS TO UC IRVINE.


Byline: Scott Wolf Scott Richard Wolf (born June 4, 1968) is an American actor.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts to Steven Wolf and Susan Enowitch, Wolf was raised in West Orange, New Jersey. He graduated in 1986 from West Orange High School.

Chatsworth High pitcher Justin Cassel has orally committed to UC Irvine.

Cassel selected Irvine over Arizona, Fresno State, Long Beach State, Hawaii and UC Santa Barbara Santa Barbara (săn'tə bär`brə, –bərə), city (1990 pop. 85,571), seat of Santa Barbara co., S Calif., on the Pacific Ocean; inc. 1850. . He was 10-2 last season with a 1.86 earned-run average.

``With Irvine giving me an offer, I couldn't pass it up,'' Cassel said. ``I just felt it was the right decision. I really like the coaching staff; it's young and energetic. I've known (UC Irvine baseball) coach (John) Savage and I want to work with him. And I know a lot of players on that team.''

Savage knew Cassel when he was the pitching coach at USC An abbreviation for U.S. Code. . Cassel's brother, Matt, is a sophomore quarterback for the Trojans.

Cassel's oldest brother, Jack, pitched for Loyola Marymount and is playing in the minor leagues. Although Chatsworth football coaches have asked Justin Cassel to play quarterback for the Chancellors this season, he said he will concentrate on baseball.

UC Irvine has also received a commitment from Thousand Oaks Thousand Oaks, residential city (1990 pop. 104,352), Ventura co., S Calif., in a farm area; inc. 1964.
