CASINOS INTERNATIONAL SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH TURTLE MOUNTAIN BAND OF CHIPPEWA INDIANS

MINNEAPOLIS, March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Casinos International, Inc., and the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians today announced they have completed negotiations and signed a construction and management contract for the tribe's first of possibly two casinos located on the Turtle Mountain Reservation located near Belcourt, N.D. The contract is for five years and provides for Casinos International to provide financing and management for the tribal owned casino. The contract now must be approved by the Bureau of Indian Affairs and receive approval certification from the state of North Dakota.
"We are very excited that our relationship with the Tribe has passed this critical point and we intend to move forward quickly to maximize the opportunity this agreement represents for the Tribe and Casinos International," said Bill Johnson, president of Casinos International. "The North Dakota gaming compact is recognized as 'the best in the country' and we all want to make the most of it. The compact authorizes mechanical and video slot machines, blackjack, craps, poker, para-mutual simulcast betting, sports and Calcutta pools on professional sporting events, keno, punchboards and jars, paddlewheels, and other Native American games of chance."
The tribes intent is to open this first casino by mid summer and to use the casino as the base to develop several other planned amenities including a 200 plus room hotel/restaurant complex, retail shopping, a second larger casino, and other family oriented attractions to complete the tribe's destination resort master plan.
Plans also call for regular commuter airline service provided by Air Casino, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Casinos International. Air Casino is licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration and the Department of Transportation.
Casino International, Inc., develops, finances, and manages casino gaming and bingo facilities for Indian Tribes on Indian land and riverboat operations in the southern United States. Air Casino provides air passenger and freight service to FAA approved airports located in close proximity to casino locations and other market viable destinations. The initial Air Casino hub of operation will be the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Casinos International has also leased a site and has plans underway to open a riverboat casino in Tunica, Miss., later this year.
