CASINO MAGIC SELECTED TO LEASE CASINO SITE IN SCOTT COUNTY, MO., PENDING NOV. 2 GAMING ELECTION

 BAY SAINT LOUIS, Miss., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Casino Magic Corp. (NASDAQ-NMS: CMAG) said today that it has been selected and granted an option by the Southeast Missouri Regional Port Authority to lease a site for the operation of a gaming casino on the Mississippi River in Scott County, Mo.
 Development of the casino is contingent on the approval of casino gaming by Scott County voters in a Nov. 2 election, and a gaming license application approval by the Missouri Gaming Commission.
 Details of the casino project are not being disclosed at this time, the company said.
 Scott County, is located in southeast Missouri, approximately 120 miles south of the St. Louis metropolitan area. The proposed casino site is in close proximity to Interstate 55, the major north-south traffic artery, and Interstate 57 which crosses the Mississippi River into Illinois, approximately 20 miles to the south. Tennessee, Kentucky and Arkansas are all within 50 miles of the proposed site.
 Casino Magic Corp., a Minnesota corporation with principal offices in Bay Saint Louis, operates gaming casinos in Bay Saint Louis and Biloxi, Miss., and Deadwood, S.D.
