 Goldberg sat down in the Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672.  sheriff's station a few months ago and discovered a $100 bill under his feet, he was faced with one of the toughest moral dilemmas of his young life.

``I put my foot over it and thought, What should I do? What should I do?'' he recalled. ``It was just laying there like someone left it for me or something. Then I picked it up and handed it to the lady at the front desk.''

For Brock, the decision to turn the money over was based on one fundamental question.

``I thought, What would I want someone else to do if I lost 100 bucks?'' said the Stevenson Ranch Stevenson Ranch, California (in the 91381 ZIP Code) is a Los Angeles County, USA, unincorporated community west of Santa Clarita a few miles south of Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park. Brock's father, Jack, said the story points out just how many good kids there are in the city.

``A lot of times, good kids will get into trouble and then start thinking they're bad kids,'' he said. ``But if you can look yourself in the mirror and see someone you respect, that's the most important thing.''
