 BB:CMRX) has reached an agreement to supply its non-invasive blood pressure technology to Medtronic Physio-Control of Redmond, Wash.

Medtronic Physio-Control is the recognized worldwide leader in the manufacture, sale and service of external defibrillators and related medical equipment.

Under the agreement, CAS will provide its non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP NIBP Non-Invasive Blood Pressure ) technology in the form of modules to Medtronic Physio-Control for use in the LIFEPAK(R) 12 defibrillator/monitor. The LIFEPAK 12 series provides therapeutic, diagnostic and monitoring functions in a single compact device designed for both out-of-hospital and hospital users.

CAS Medical Systems Inc. supplies its NIBP Modules to several leading manufacturers of multi-parameter monitoring systems throughout the world. The patented CAS technology is among the most advanced oscillometric measurement systems available. Superior motion artifact rejection capabilities make it ideal for use in emergency medicine. CAS also manufactures and sells a line of stand-alone monitoring devices for use by emergency medical services An Emergency medical service (abbreviated to initialism "EMS" in many countries) is a service providing out-of-hospital acute care and transport to definitive care, to patients with illnesses and injuries which the patient believes constitutes a medical emergency.  and hospitals.
