 car show Sunday will have a little something for everyone who likes things that rev and roll.

There will be 23 categories, with special awards for Most Likely to Get a Tickey, Best Engine, Best Upholstery upholstery, general term for household fittings, hangings, curtains, cushions, and covers. , classics, sports cars, race cars, and more will be parked for judging and visitor appreciation at the Camarillo Business Center from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

The show is free and is expected to raise close to $15,000 this year. A significant portion of the money will come from contest entry fees, donations from presenting event sponsors Todey Chevrolet and Pacesetter, and from the trophy sponsors. The balance of funds raised will come from silent auction proceeds, concession and booth sales.

``Normally, the funds are contributed to the general fight against heart disease,'' said Kim Novak, association social events director. ``The money is used wherever there is a need.''

The board of directors of the Camarillo/Somis Division of the American Heart Association is breaking that precedent this year. Proceeds from the 1998 event will be used to establish the Violet Loh Moya Moya Research Grant. The grant is named for the recently deceased wife of Dr. Christopher Dr. John R. Christopher, known popularly as "Dr. Christopher" was one of very few nationally prominent doctors of herbal medicine of the middle third of the 20th century, a "dark ages" of herbalism and was responsible for the herbal renaissance of the 1960s.  Loh of Camarillo.

Show chairman Barry Hoyland said visitors to the event can expect to see more than vehicles on display. Each camp of car owners lends its individuals flavor and character to the show.

``We poll the car show participants after each show to see what their desires are, and we tailor-make the next show to meet their recommendations,'' said Hoyland.

Organizers said eventgoers will be happy to see the return of a 1948 Mack truck engine and twin Corvettes. Both were popular exhibits at previous shows.
