This UK network overlays Carrier1's 1,300 kilometre multistrand fibre optic network covering the Central and Southern parts of the country and including Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Sheffield. This high-speed, high-capacity fibre network should be lit over the next few months and will allow Carrier1 to manage its growing UK and pan-European traffic flows in the most cost efficient manner.
