, Guilbert L. Brandon, Jr., and Steven W. Lanter, each formerly associated with one of the six founding companies that merged in December 1995 to form United TransNet, have resigned from the Board. Their actions reduce the number of directors to seven. In addition, Draper, who was Vice President and Secretary of the Company, and Brandon, who was Vice President, Parcel, have resigned from their operational duties.

Commenting on the announcement, Philip A.
