CARNES TO HEADLINE CONCERT.

As part of the 24th annual Concert in the Park series, singer-songwriter Kim Carnes Kim Carnes (born July 20, 1945 in Pasadena, California) is a Grammy Award-winning American singer-songwriter. She is noted for her distinctive, raspy voice which she attributes to many hours spent singing in smoky bars and clubs.  and the Studio One Band, known for their rendition of the song ``Bette Davis Eyes,'' will perform Sunday at Warner Park

Warner Park is a community park in northern Madison, Wisconsin.

With the Studio One Band set to open the show at 5 p.m. with a little bit of funk and rock 'n' roll rock 'n' roll: see rock music. , Carnes and fellow musician Greg Barnhill will perform an unplugged acoustic set scheduled to last until about 7:30 p.m.

For Steve Goldstein, a friend of Carnes' and also a fellow musician, the event marks her return to the Valley.

The free concert series will continue until Aug. 29 with a tribute to music from Broadway and Hollywood to close out the season.

All concerts are held at Warner Park, located at 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., across from the Marriott Hotel. Parking is available in the structure located on the northeast corner of Owensmouth Avenue and Califa Street for a charge of $2.
