CARNEGIE BANK TO OPEN TEMPORARY MINI-BRANCH IN FLEMINGTON.


PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JULY 31, 1996--CARNEGIE BANCORP (NASDAQ/NMS: CBNJ CBNJ Community Bancorp of New Jersey , CBNJW) announced that CARNEGIE BANK, N.A. will open a temporary mini-branch located at 8 Main Street, Flemington, New Jersey Flemington is a Borough in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. As of the United States 2000 Census, the borough population was 4,201. It is the county seat of Hunterdon County.  on August 19, 1996. Hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and full banking services will be available. A permanent office will be located at 171 Main Street in Flemington and will be open for business later this year, replacing the temporary mini-branch.

CARNEGIE has been meeting the lending needs of Flemington area customers from temporary offices since March 1996, led by Garrett Bromley, Regional Senior Vice President and Eileen Wolfe, Vice President. When the mini- branch opens, CARNEGIE will accept deposits to its trademark Free Business Checking Account in addition to offering personal accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposit, commercial loans and mortgages, small business loans and lines of credit, accounts receivable financing Accounts Receivable Financing
