CARMA International Opens South American Office.


WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 24, 1998--CARMA International, the U.S.-based global media research and analysis firm, announced today that it is expanding its consulting services to South America South America, fourth largest continent (1991 est. pop. 299,150,000), c.6,880,000 sq mi (17,819,000 sq km), the southern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  with the opening of a new office in Santiago, Chile Santiago, officially Santiago de Chile (Spanish: ), is the capital of Chile, and the center of its largest conurbation (Greater Santiago). .

Prompted by increasing client demand, the Santiago office will be headed by Federico Willoughby-Macdonald, a former journalist and public affairs consultant. Mr. Willoughby-Macdonald has decades of experience in public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most  and public affairs. He has served as an advisor to three presidents and was public affairs manager for Ford Motor Company in Santiago.
